SNOW DAY
We woke up this morning with ALL this to shovel … all schools, most roads CLOSED. Which means its a snow day!! Sitting here, drinking some coffee, watching the local news panic and act like this has never happened before. Hilarious.

Tis' Chrimmis
It’s beginning to FEEL like Christmas in the Donovan house! We spent all day Sunday getting in the Christmas spirit. We climbed the ladder and got up on the roof to hang our christmas lights, decorated the tree, decorated our house, sang Christmas songs all day long. It was a great day.
Sunday Tree Hunt
Sunday morning, Patrick and I got up early and hit the road to find our tree! Its not quite like going into the woods of Elliston and trudging through knee high snow to find the perfect tree…. but since we’re in Spokane and there was no snow, this was a blast too!

Thanksgiving Time in Helena
Patrick and I had such an amazing time in Helena. Both of us were SOOO ready for some time off to spend with family. As normal, it was a relaxing time filled with games, lounging on the couch with good conversation, lots of good food, and amazing hikes. Its almost become a tradition, everyday we arrive, we all walk out the backdoor and hike up around all the mountains behind the house!

Turkey Dinner
my mom hosted thanksgiving this year, we had about 17 people come over…. which surprisingly is relatively small for our traditional thanksgiving feasts. I didn’t eat any of the turkey though, i just had ham :)
