My favorite part are the people’s expressions, you can tell they are a little camera shy and you get to peek into their world a little bit, the bedrooms and houses in the background. So real.
HELLO WORLD, I LOVE YOU!
Today, as you all know, is September 11th. The anniversary of something so terrible, so sad and so heartbreaking that many wondered how we could recover. Recover we did and I am so proud that this project, so far, is done and viewable on this day. This day we show how united we Can be, how far our recovery has come.
Submissions slowed and finally stopped, so I thought it was about time I made a video of the 40 submissions I had so far. You are all beautiful, you are all wonderful and I Love this more than I can express. The more you submit, the more we can do on this, the bigger we can make it. Please, please send your videos in!

Library Card
We have a public library a few blocks from our house, hidden away in our cute neighborhood and I’ve NEVER stopped in there. Until today. I signed myself up for a new card. This might sound strange, but I felt like a little kid again…a little kid who was just entrusted with some responsibility for the first time. I don’t know if that makes sense, but it brought me back to when I was little, but mature enough to be getting a card that gave me the power to take care of the books and return them at the proper time. Well, its hard to explain. I checked out a few books for me and a few kids books for Griffin. The smell of them and the sound of the plastic coverings protecting them brought back some fun memories. :)
And, did you know most libraries now have new popular movies you can “check out” to watch. Yeah! They might not have a HUGE selection of titles, but still, so much better than Red Box and Netflix. Why you ask, cuz a library card is FREE!!!
The library is an awesome place and I’m so glad I stopped in there today.

Feeling Loved Today

The husband surprised me with my first Pumpkin Spice Latte this morning.
Which means it is officially Fall in my world now. I don’t care if the leaves haven’t started changing yet or the temperture still gets hot in the afternoons. In McGraw’s world, its Fall, because I love Fall and I’m ready for Fall. Let me know if you want to join me in my world of Fall :) All are welcome.

One day, something like you will be in my mud room.
Something you might not know about me edition:
If given the oppurtunity, I would drop EVERYTHING and move Patrick, Sprocket, and myself to live on a little farm in Montana. Big sky country, huge purplely blue ice capped mountains in the background, wild flower meadows, old falling down fence lines as far as the eye can see, and an old farmhouse with stories to tell. Have my days filled with whatever the farm requires. Tending the gardens, raising chickens for their eggs, cows for their milk, horses to ride and explore our land. Baking delicious breads, pies, and dinners. A place where I can sit on my porch drinking a glass of lemonade, tea, or coffee while enoying the breathtaking views. Walking around the tall grass with my dresses and cowboy boots, hand in hand with Patrick. Somewhere where I can pick fresh wild flowers to put in every room of the house. Plan fun dinner parties in our backyard on a big old farm table decorated with my candle filled mason jars. A place, where when winter comes, you could find me sitting by the wood fire with hot cocoa and a good book. To be far enough from the world and still self sustainable, to have everything you need right in your back yard. Long days outside, hard work, beautiful surroundings … making that head on the pillow at night filled with sweet dreams. Ahhh. Maybe one day that wish will come true :)
