Newborn Me with Proud Mama.  Today is my Mom’s birthday.  I’m a writer, I do it for a living (when I’m not taking photos) and I do it because I cannot Not write.  I don’t have the words to say when I try to think of them for my Mom.  I don’t have the right words that say Thank You in the right ways, I don’t have the right adjectives to describe her, to describe our friendship or my love for her.  She is, without hesitation, one of the strongest women I will ever know.  She is, without equal, one of the most amazing people to put her feet on the surface of this planet.  She is stubborn and I am stubborn and we can argue like no two people alive.  She makes me better and I hope, my goodness I hope that some part of me makes some part of her better too.  If only to repay all she has given me, if only to show her that while I might not have the words, I will do all I can to show it with the actions.  Mothers are a rare and amazing thing.  They throw magic into life, they stuff our days with wonder and appreciation and they give us men the slices of sensitivity that we need to truly become Men…real Men.  They show us that tears are ok, more than that, they are necessary and they show that we’re alive.  They show us that laughter is stronger.  They show us that women are amazing and should be treated with more respect than we know how to manufacture, so we need to fill those gaps with awe.
I Love You Marmie.  Happy Birthday, and while words cannot do it justice…Thank You.

Beautiful Tyler. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!  Tyler is the writer in the family. I have ZERO writing skills, so I’m just going to reblog ty’s nice message instead. :) Mom, I love you with all my heart and Thank you for everything that you do. You are amazing and wish we could be together to share your birthday with you! You are the best and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
